My biggest pet peeve in the world is smokers who toss their butts on the ground. Hey, the ground isn't an friggin' ashtray. I've never seen this particular device, but I knew a woman about 10 years ago who smoked so much her skin was gray, but she always carried around a small old metal film container half-filled with sand to extinguish and hold her butts til she found a trash can.
