Well, I'd buy organic hot dog buns if I could find them. Almost every single hot dog bun I've found is pumped with high fructose corn syrup. Why does a hot dog bun need high fructose corn syrup? Outside of some potato buns (that had loads of other odd stuff in them that I can't pronounce) I can't find a single maker of buns that doesn't contain HFCS. To me, common sense leads me to steering clear of products that are harmful to my long term health. Is a regular bun going to kill me? No, of course not. The problem is that it is getting more and more difficult to eat healthy because it seems most everything is filled with preservatives etc.
